Inspiration. Motivation. Perspiration.
Most pages of this site feature a random action quote appearing on the right side of the page. But if you really need an extended kick-in-the-butt, you can spend some time here going through all of the quotes in one location. I visit this section frequently, so don't feel like you're the only one needing inspiration from time to time.
Check back often as I'm adding new ones regularly. The page below displays quotes in the order I've added them. Enjoy.
“You simply must dispel the idea that everyone else has it better than you. Life is challenging for everyone. Just because people put on a happy face in public doesn’t mean their ‘inner/private life’ is enviable.”
“You never fail. You only find ways that do not work. Failure can be an investment in your life when you take an attitude to learn in crisis.”
Do what you need to do as quickly as possible so that you can enjoy what you want for as long as possible.
The only difference between a dream and reality is ACTION.
God’s gift to you is more talent and ability than you will ever use in one lifetime. Your gift to God is to develop and utilize as much of that talent and ability as you can, in this lifetime.
"Success and achievement requires effort."
“Success is a process - it’s continuing to make gains each and every day. I never set out to break Lou Gehrig’s record. My goal was to be good and be available for the team every day, and in business, it’s the same approach.”
“It is the greatest of all mistakes to do nothing because you can do only a little. Do what you can.”
“Do not wait; the time will never be “just right.” Start where you stand, and work with whatever tools you may have at your command, and better tools will be found as you go along.”
"All things are difficult before they are easy.”
"There is real power in just getting started. In fact, momentum is one of the strongest forces on the planet. For instance, a standing locomotive can be held in place by a small block of wood. However, once that same locomotive gains momentum, it can crash through a solid brick wall—it becomes unstoppable. You are the same way. As soon as you get momentum behind your actions, you too will be unstoppable.”
"When you do your best, you’re often THE best. Why? Because hardly anyone else is doing THEIR best."
“An inventor fails 999 times, and if he succeeds once, he’s in. He treats his failures simply as practice shots.”
“Motivation is what gets you started. Habit is what keeps you going.”
“I don’t wait for moods. You accomplish nothing if you do that. Your mind must know it has got to get down to work. ”
“The ability to bounce back from disappointment and even disaster counts more than education, more than experience, and more than training.”
“The first thing to do about an obstacle is simply to stand up to it and not complain about it or whine under it but forthrightly attack it. Stand up to your obstacles and do something about them. You will find that they haven’t half the strength you think they have. Just stand up to it, that’s all, and don’t give way under it, and it will finally break. You will break it. Something has to break and it won’t be you, it will be the obstacle.”
“Whenever you find yourself anxious or upset about a business or personal situation, it will be remarkably helpful to think about a reality of life that seems to escape people who are under stress: Things change!”
“Only YOU can decide to be motivated. Nobody else has that power. Accomplishing your goals begins with your decision to take action. Yes, fear and lack of confidence can creep into your mindset. And, yes, those things can extinguish your motivation. Toss them out. Choose to be positive. Then take action. You’ll find that taking even a single small step toward accomplishing a goal will motivate you to take the next step.”
“Find something to do that really inspires you, that keeps you up at night, that you simply love to do.”
