Step 2: Let's Get Started on Your New Blog!

Step 1 was to choose your new domain name and get your web hosting set up. I'll need that in place before I can work on your blog. If you haven't done that, please go here to complete that step.

Ok. Now it's time to really get going on getting your new blog created. The first thing I need is for you to fill out the form below. Don't worry... if you're not ready to answer all the questions, that's ok! Go ahead and take a look at what I need from you below, and if you need to take some time to think things over, that's cool. No worries at all. Just come back when it's convenient for you and when you're ready, fill it out and send it over to me.

You'll also be receiving an email from me that has the link to this page, so be sure to keep that in a safe place.

I've tried to keep things as simple as possible. The form is not very long and once I have the info in hand, I can get started on your blog. Contact Me if you have any questions.

Choose the main design t you want. There's no right or wrong choice. Just choose the style that suits you best. You can choose your colors in the next section below. If you need to see the choices again, go to the main sales page HERE to view the demos again. If you don't have a particular color in mind, just let me know that you want me to choose one, or that you just prefer the color of the demo layout you chose.

This determines how your blog posts will be presented. You can choose from the following blog posts layouts: This is the default example with large images.. This is the small featured image version.. This is the hero version with grid posts. . This is the grid layout with posts in columns. This is the magazine style layout. (These links open in a new window. If I create your logo, three revisions are provided as part of your Done For You Blog package. Beyond that, I would need to charge an additional fee.

Do You Currently Have an Autoresponder Service that I Can Connect to Subscription Forms?

Yes. I'll send you information you request for that.
No. I do not plan to have a mailing list immediately.
No. Can you recommend a service to me?

If you do not currently have an autoresponder/list building service right now, that's ok. You can contact me later and I'll add that on for you when you're ready.

Do you have social media accounts, like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc? *

Yes. I do have some social media links that I can send you.
No. I do not have any social media accounts yet.

This is another item that is not necessary if you don't have any accounts right now. You can always contact me later and I'll add some Follow Me buttons to your blog's sidebar. By default, I do include social media sharing buttons which do not require you to have those accounts of your own. Those buttons will sit on the left side of your blog pages and allows others to share your site with their friends and family.

Do You Have Your Own Amazon S3 Account for Doing Blog Backups? *

Yes. I have my own account and I'll send you the information you need to access it.
No. I will need you to backup my blog to your the Done For You Blog Amazon account.

I provide automated backups of your blog to my Amazon cloud storage account. This is included in your package. But if you already have your on Amazon cloud storage account (S3), I can adjust the settings to backup to your own account instead.

This is the "bucket" where you want your files for this blog stored. If you already have one set up, I'll need the name of the bucket. If you want me to create a new one for this site, please provide a name for the bucket where you want the files stored. Buckets are stored like this: s3://bucket-name

Do You Need Extra Pages Added? Please List the Names of Up To Three Additional Pages.

Your Done For You Blog package includes an About page, Contact page (with contact form), Privacy page, Disclaimer page and a Anti-Spam policy page. You can have me add up to three other pages to your blog.
